Strong and Light
Trowel is strong, light and shaped for the intended purpose. I recommend wrapping the handle portion in paracord or using a rag to pad it. The edge can be tough on your hand, digging in hard soil. If your traveling via air carrier best to check this in your luggage. This could be perceived as a weapon by TSA.

The trowel itself is well constructed and VERY light, but I highly recommend wrapping the handle somehow as it is the ONLY complaint I have with it. It has no grip to it and is uncomfortable at best.

Small but Mighty
This is a really cool option to stow in your Pack. I have mine wrapped around my stainless water bottle so this takes very little space. Itâs lightweight aluminum too, so youâll not even notice itâs there, until you need it. Itâs great to trawl a nice gutter around your tent for water diversionâ¦and an occasional hole for whatever you need it for. Like I said itâs compact, so you are limited to its size. Just keep that in mind. Overall a great option.

I really like this trowel, it works great in harder terrain and with a serrated edge It helps dig a little better. Not to mention itâs super light. Youâll never know itâs there.You donât wanna have to do your business in the back country and have to dig with a stick for an hour.

This is a great backpacking trowel! I have taken this on three trips and have used it to clear off a section for my UL nemo dragonfly 3p. This little trowel has done a fantastic job for clearing and shoveling.
